The Epagneul Breton, also known as the French Brittany, is a versatile hunting dog originally from the Brittany region of France. Renowned for its exceptional bird-hunting skills and affectionate personality, the breed is the smallest of the pointing dogs and is prized for its agility, character, mentality and intelligence.
Epagneul Breton's produced from Broughton Kennel are prototypical in conformation, working qualities, mentality, character and intelligence. Over the last 20 years we have selectively bred dogs that excel in association and repetition whereas training is simple. At one time we competed our dogs heavily, received awards and accolades for our reproduction. These days we are hunters and utilize our lines to fast track training in the field where the fun is.
